Whetung Ojibwa Centre
What an amazing find! I had driven passed the centre thinking it was a community centre (given its name). I finally visited the store this past weekend and was blown away. It is much larger than meets the eye. The variety is really great too, including jewelry, moccasins, mukluks, authentic clothing, purses etc. We got there a little late so I didn't have the opportunity to spend much time in the art gallery. The artists are also on site which makes the experience even more appealing. There is even a museum section in the basement.It's definitely worth stopping by!

Took a friend that is new to the area. We loved our time here. Going back soon.Picked up a few things. The artwork within this facility is fantastic. A must see.

My daughter asked to go to the Art gallery . It was a great experience. My favorite piece was the Brown bear painting , gorgeous! Tons of items to purchase . They have alot to see for everyone . And there are 3 large areas to explore. They also sell moccasins that are very well made !

Whetung Ojibwa Centre
I took my family here on the march break and we all really enjoyed the experience. Their selection of moccasins is amazing. Their art gallery might be one of the best I have ever been too. What was that music they were playing? It was good! The furs were spectacular! The people were very kind and welcoming. A terrific cultural centre that I would recommend to anyone looking to have a memorable experience.

This is a great place for great crafts and artwork. The items speak loudly and proudly of the people that life in this wonderful community. We never return to South Carolina without a visit and bringing home some wonderful pieces. My wife loves the moccasins and always purchases a few pairs at the store or online.

Authentic store and gallery. Beautiful jewelry and artworks. A small museum downstairs. You should try the sofa drinks, mint. So nice tasting.

The Whetung Ojibwa Center is the best! I've been going here for years with all of my family! Since owning my own place in kawarthas, I've always made a point to bring all my guests to Curve lake to visit Whetung. Everything You can think of, great gifts and even treats for yourself.My moccasins are the comfiest I have ever worn, I love the art on my walls, and decorations on my shelves! I always buy Christmas gifts for my family and they love them every time.I will continue to support and visit with all my family and friends for years to come!
